Meet the Stars – Tommy Hellfire

Born Anthony Cincotta on August 18, 1983, Tommy studied music and drama at Box Hill Senior Secondary. After high school, he pursued music in Metal/Punk rock band Prolapse from 2003 to 2006, notably playing the Ding Dong and the Greyhound Hotel.

In 2006, Tommy made the leap from music to pro wrestling. He began training at the age of 22 with PWA in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs, and it was during this time that he took on the persona of Tommy Hellfire, wrestling his way across Australia.

In 2008, Tommy wrestled in Japan for Big Japan ProWrestling and won his first title in Australia. More success followed in 2009, winning the Australian Championship Wrestling (ACW) Heavy Weight Title. He held the championship belt for over a year before being forced out of competition with a shoulder injury.

Tommy turned his attention behind the scenes, running ACW for then owner, the late Dominic Care. Tommy ran ACW whilst Dominic was in poor health and in October 2010, after Dominic passed away, Tommy (and new partner) rebranded ACW into MCW.

Tommy triumphantly returned to the ring in 2011, yet unfortunately was forced out with the same shoulder injury rearing its head. Tommy continues to run MCW, holding regular shows at the Dragonfly and The Thornbury Theatre.
